Castro steps down…

Admittedly he has not been in power for some time, but it is definitely an end of an era today. Castro always struck me like so many world leftist leaders, I support so much of their rhetoric until just when things seem to be going well, bam: human rights abuses. Perhaps with the move away from Castro and a hopeful new Democratic administration (President Obama, please) we can move away from what has really become a silly game of sanctions for no real goal. Both countries have more to gain as partners than adversaries.
