Playoffs…

So my two favorite teams lost today. Clearly my fandom is a curse.

Federer.

Australia Open starts in two days. To celebrate another tennis season, a bit of Roger Federer, the finest athlete alive.

Pucks and pigskins.

My beloved Stars are now in second in the Pacific, due to a tiebreak with San Jose. This sucks. In better news my beloved Cowboys play this weekend, though hopefully they can shake out of their terrible funk from the last couple (admittedly meaningless) games.

Football Pick ‘Em.

So I am in a NFL Pick ‘Em league. Basically you pick them games against the spread and then rank all the games in the week from 1 to 16, then you get those points for all the games you pick correctly.

I am owning my league.

I have about a 100 point lead over the next place person, and I have particularly pissed off a few of the real die-hard football guys in the league. So now I take it as a challenge, to assert the masculinity of film programmers everywhere by destroying all comers in a fantasy football league.

Which, let’s face it, is just as nerdy as being a film programmer.
